Hello everybody! Welcome to Gurashies!

Gurashies is a couple-run business based out of Toronto Canada. We both started our collecting journey when we were kids and carried on the addiction into our adulthood.

In the early 2000's, I remember I'd always ask my mom for Yugioh and Pokemon cards. Despite financial struggles, she and my grandma somehow were able to afford some from time to time. Although I knew at the time and felt bad that my family was spending their hard earned money on fake cards, I also knew that it was all they could afford. Nonetheless I was still over the moon that I had anything at all. I remember staring at my cards with awe in all of its badly faked star holographic glory, and that's how it all started for me.  

I always dreamed of opening up my own shop being surrounded by what I love, collecting anything and everything that sparked my interest. A place where other collectors can come together and yap to their hearts desires, a place where nobody has to worry about authenticity. I hope for that place to be Gurashies.
